Welcome to the official Cleddau Amateur Radio Society Website
The Cleddau Amateur Radio Society was formed in 1983, and at first it drew it members from around the banks of the Cleddau estuary. However it’s ever growing reputation for exam success and radio activities, saw the membership rapidly rising with members coming from all over the county of Pembrokeshire, it used to regularly meet on a Monday night in the community education centre in Neyland.
However in 2014 it moved to the man shed in Pembroke Dock, which provided the group with 24/7 access to the building and radio shack, although the regular Monday nigmeetings were still maintained, with a secondary education night beingintroduced on a Thursday.
Sadly the move did not work out and in 2018 the group moved to Marconi House in Pembroke
Dock, the home base of the Tenby Radio Repeater Group, it still meets on a Monday night with the Thursday night educational classes being maintained, if you are interested in any form of radio please do not hesitate to come along
and talk to one of our members.
Marconi house is open every Monday evening from 1900 to 2100, and most Thursday nights,
subject to demand for classes, although you may find members there at any time of the day or night as key-holders have 24/7 access to the radio room.
You can find more details on Marconi house and where to find us on our contact and map page
